Gystatin, The Right Solution For Vaginitis

Vaginitis or vaginal infection is a threat for all women. This disease is caused by two types of bacteria, Trichomonas vaginalis and Candida albicans, combined with certain conditions related to sexual activity, the lack of contraceptives, or certain drugs. However, it is quite treatable.
The infection caused by Trichomonas vaginalis and Candida albicans generally affect the vaginal walls and can be either acute or chronic. In the acute case there would be seropurulent vaginal secretion, - usually yellowish, green-yellow, malodorous, and foamy. The vaginal walls would redden and sometimes there would also be small abscess on the vaginal wall or cervix, which would seem like red granulation known the "strawberry appearance", accompanied with symptoms of dispareunia, post-coital bleeding, and intermenstrual bleeding. If the secretion/granulation is severe, there could be some irritation around the vagina or even up to the inner thighs. Without immediate medication, the infection could lead to other sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis, HIV, etc.
Pharmacore Healthcare presents Gystatin, a solution for this infection problem. Gystatin gives bactericide and fungicide dual action mechanism, with Metronidazole 500 mg as the anti-bacteria agent on Trichomonas vaginalis and Nystatin 100,000 IU as the anti-fungal on Candida albicans.
The application of Gystatin is easy. Simply put one ovula of Gystatin into the vagina before going to bed for 7 to 10 days consecutively. If the infection persists after 10 days, the medication can be continued for another 10 days. There has been no absolute contraindication for the usage; however, caution is still advised for patients who are hypersensitive to one of the components, which might have side effects of mild headache, pruritus, urticaria, and peripheral neuropathy.
