Presenting the Warmth of Northern Foods During Ramadhan

Jakarta, June 2nd, 2016 – The joy of Ramadhan is embraced in various activities, including finding the perfect venue to break the fast with family and friends. To welcome the holy month of Ramadhan, Chef Marco Lim would like to call culinary enthusiasts to try the warmth of lamb cooked with special spices, or dubbed as Kambing Kurma, together with the fresh Es Timun Serut (shaved cucumber with ice), especially for breaking the fast together.
“These two items are our special gifts during Ramadhan this year. Our customers may enjoy the delight of this extraordinary Padang food, a combination of savory coconut milk and fragrant spices," said Chef Marco Lim.
The Kambing Kurma champions the lamb, cooked with various spices such as shallot, galangal, ginger, turmeric, dan others that make up the distinct Padang taste. To complement the fast breaking meal, customers may also drink the fresh and sweet Es Timun Serut to quench their thirst.
Furthermore, Chef Marco has also prepared a variety of fast breaking packages to help loyal customers in choosing the right menu for dining with family and friends. "Togetherness is important during fasting, therefore we've prepared several fast breaking packages that include some of Chef Marco's best so our customers may choose their fast breaking menu easily," stated Wanda Mahardi, F&B Manager of Marco chain restaurant.

The new items will be available on the menu starting from the first fasting day in all Marco outlets, which are at Lotte Shopping Avenue, Plaza Indonesia, Grand Indonesia, Pacific Place, and Street Gallery Pondok Indah Mall.
